Yesterday, Instagram users found a notification that they had been suspended their accounts for violating community guidelines. Within an hour, some users reported that the account had resorted. According to the company, the app will be available by the evening.
Users cannot post Halloween photos on the app, and users report the incident on Twitter and other platforms, with most of the users saying they had no idea what the violations cited by Instagram could have been. The holding company, Facebook, accepted that users all over the world have problems accessing their Instagram accounts.
According to a spokesperson, the issue has been resolved. The social media company did not mention how many people are affected by the account suspension. According to DownDetector.com, the issue started at approximately 9 a.m. and the report was declined by noon.
Others simply turned to humor to deal with the chaos, and stress of seeing their accounts suspended.
Based on the tweet, the false ban will be reversed, with some Reddit users confirming they have gained access to their accounts. One of the users accesses their account by logging in using the 2FA code after forgetting the password. However, it looks like an unreliable solution.
